Here's my yarngear sock, it's not turning out too well, you can't tell by the picture but the sock is too airy. I tried using homespun and the stitching is too loose. The sock is way too big for me. I think I'm going to 'frog' this version and either try using two strands or some wool-ease.

If it looks too airy, and is way too big for you made out of the homespun, why not felt it? It would probably fit then, and would be extra warm.
